OUR HUNUA FAMILY STORY
Hunua Woodcraft is a New Zealand owned family business that was created during one of the Covid lockdowns. A mixture of time on our hands, and a number of requests from friends for our unique handcrafted original wood products made us realise that we should share our talents with others. And so Hunua Woodcraft was born.
Interestingly the original product was a knife block that fitted the New World SMEG knife sets as we were unable to purchase the original SMEG knife block. The solid rimu knife block we made was of a far higher quality and looked so much more elegant and natural – we made some more, and then some more, and so our journey began…

We first moved to Hunua 20 years ago and are so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful and caring community.
We will be forever grateful to Stephanie from Studio Monday for the web design and creative input. No job seems too much trouble and the quality of her work is stunning.
Also a big shout out to John Hill Estate in Hunua for allowing us to use their vineyard for our photo shoot. They are a boutique, family run vineyard and restaurant set amongst beautifully landscaped grounds in the Hunua Ranges of Auckland.
